lightofmeridianMeridian is gone. As far as I know, I'm its only survivor.
Will gave me the Heart. No warning, no instructions on what to do with it; just threw it at me as the portal to Meridian was closing. It's already bonded with me, so I guess there's no getting rid of it. The only questions are what do I do with it, and more importantly can I handle it?
The Nexus is an...interesting place. I met some nice people who have said that they'll keep an eye out for Vathek and Calebif they're still alive. One was a mouse named Mickey; I shared my strawberries with him. Another man (he didn't tell me his name) told me about the anti-violence field that shelters the Nexus. Supposedly no one is allowed to hurt anyone else there, unless all parties are agreed to it. It may prove useful in testing my limitations with the Heart.
And there was a boy, named Sora. He had something called a "Keyblade" and said he'd fought Heartless like the ones that destroyed Meridian. Sora advised me to keep the Heart hidden, but he didn't say why. Could there be people in the Nexus who would want its power for themselves?
Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if there were.
